The 10th edition of the international Dubai Airport
Expo was opened yesterday and the 3 day event was inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.
The exhibition will showcase the latest technologies in the global airport industry. Professionals will share their expertise on enhancing operational efficiencies of airports.
Ara Fernezian, director at Reed Exhibitions Middle East, organisers of the event, said the participation of key players at the event reflects the growing international interest in the industry and confirmed that there has been a 7% increase in the number of exhibitors, from 210 in 2009 to 223 this year.
France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland and China are among 34 countries participating in the exhibition.
