E-gates at Dubai International Airport have seen a significant increase in the number of passengers arriving and departing throughout the last 10 months.
Close to 3 million passengers passed through the e-gates at Dubai Airport during 2010 as compared to just over 2.7 million in 2009.
As part of the co-operation with the government bodies, the Dubai Immigration Department processed 644,420 medical check-up transactions electronically with the Ministry of Health. Some 315,061 transactions were electronically handled along with the Ministry of Labour.
