As confirmed to Dubai Airport Guide News by an airline spokesperson, Emirates have announced that they will be adding a 3rd daily flight from Sydney to Dubai to allow passengers from Australia to make faster connections to Europe. The additional flight from Australia to Dubai is set to be introduced in October 2011.
Flight EK415 from Sydney to Dubai will leave Sydney Airport at 06:00 arriving at Dubai Airport at 13:30 for same-day connections to London, Birmingham, Munich, Paris, Rome, Milan, Zurich, Athens and Moscow.
The return flight from Dubai to Sydney will leave Dubai at 01:40 arriving at Sydney Airport at 22:30.
As an extra incentive for business & first class pasengers, Emirates airlines will be offerring connecting passengers an overnight stay at Sydney Airports Stamford Plaza hotel to ensure they can make the flight to Dubai early in the morning.
Emirates will also be using their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which consists of 12 first class suites, 42 angled lie-flat business class seats and 304 seats in economy class.
Emirates did previously offer a 3rd daily flight from Sydney to Dubai although they eventually moved that service on to other routes.
